World Evangelical Alliance Program on Public Policy
The World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) has asked Dr. Ronald Sider and the Sider Center on Ministry and Public Policy to lead a global process designed to help dozens of national evangelical fellowships around the world develop a consensus statement on political engagement for the evangelical community in their specific country. Dr. Sider co-chaired the process in the National Association of Evangelicals (USA) which led to the historic document “For the Health of the Nation: An Evangelical Call to Civic Responsibility” (unanimously approved in 2004). Over the course of the next several years, Dr. Sider and the staff and students at the Sider Center will assist national evangelical fellowships around the world as they prepare their own statement for their own unique setting.
